No, All the content from the expansions and Living world episodes are strictly Level 80 content. What you could do is to boost a separate character, play the first mission of PoF/HoT to unlock the Mount/Gliding. But IMO you shouldn't because old content isn't made for mounts. If you had a free to play account I would say that it is better to
Yes, all post-launch content is intended for max-level only. While being lvl 80 with lvl 80 gear is not strictly mandatory for entering into Heart of Maguuma or Elona, the mobs there will tear you new one if you are underleveled or undergeared. Don't worry though! Hitting level 80 is a relatively quick process.
So can you buy a level 80 boost on its own, or is it only available through pre-purchasing an expansion? Jump to content. GuildWars2.com; Forums; Support; Wiki Revenant doesn't have to be hard, especially with the celestial booster gear. I suggest following this renegade build, but while you train the elite spec, do the following instead: Make your third spec Invocation 2-3-3. Buy a Shiverstone and a Carrion Tribal Axe of Rage. Posted July 31, 2021. The boosters and slots included in the last two expansions behaved this way as well, presumably because they think people will want a fresh lvl 80 character with one of the upcoming expansion specs on it and will therefore use the item right away once the inventory slot appears. You should have received another Shared Inventory Slot (with the L80 Boost inside); unless, of course, you've already hit the max. Due to high volume at this time, CS Team responses are a bit slower than usual. You can update your original ticket (don't make a new one) to inquire about status. Sterling_Sable. • 1 yr. ago. You will lose one expansion lvl 80 boost, since Hot and PoF are now bundled together. So if you buy the complete collection, you will get 2 lvl 80 boosters (one lvl 80 booster for unlocking PoF and HoT, and one lvl 80 booster for EoD) If you purchase the PoF and HoT bundle, you will get one lvl 80booster. Yeah, its been this for years, sadly. Just use the booster for a low-level character you want to play with and ignore the gear from the booster. if you play you will get a lot more level-up items for other characters and also you can buy exo gear. So, you don't really need to save the booster for later. 2. Create the character, go to the pvp lobby. There you will have everything unlocked from level 1 and are able to test the elite spec on dummies. You can buy weapons at the vendor so you can test all weapon skills. If you don't like the class you can just delete it and create a new character to test. The level 80 boost only allows you to test the
For sPVP you don't need to boost, as you will get boosted automatically to level 80 there. You will also get special equalized gear within the PvP section of the game. In WvW you will be scaled up. This upscaling doesn't work too welll though, but you still don't really need to use the level 80 boost.
So this is news to me, but apparently you can use the level 80 boost at level 80. You will get (soulbound) exotic lvl 80 celestial stat gear. This can be great or very middle of the road depending on your class/build. lKapTeiNl • 5 hr. ago.
I'm pretty sure the Devs wouldn't spoil some big surprise like that if there was. So, go ahead if you want to use your L80 Boost. Or spend the time until End of Dragon releases by le These slots are initially filled with a Level-80 Boost. Consuming the boost will free up the slots. If you receive Heart of Thorns free with Path of Fire, you do not get the shared inventory slot or the level 80 boost from Heart of Thorns, meaning you only get one boost and one slot, despite owning both expansions. Which means including the level 80 boost when you buy the game is a bit misleading because it's almost always a bad idea to use it right away. The best way to learn the game is actually to start from level 1, going around the low level maps which are designed to introduce you to how the game works and the combat mechanics, and follow your
Yet on the patch notes it says regarding the rewards you get when using it on a level 80 (under "Using the Level-80 Boost Item on Characters Already at Level 80"): "These are the same rewards given to those who use the trial option and then make the boost permanent (see “Making the Level-80 Boost Permanent” below)."

If you can stomach the limit of 2 characters and the tiny bag slots then yeah, until maybe after the base story / hitting 80. But honestly, if you're just at 30 I heavily suggest playing the game from their native launcher and starting over.
And now there’s another avenue to past progression: the Black Lion Trading Company. For the first time, a level 80 character boost is available as a purchase in the game’s cash shop. It’s also available as part of a “preparation pack” for Path of Fire, which also contains an additional character slot, two bag slot expansions, an Spvp does need gear. WvW exotic gear is fine if you are a new player and devoting more resources on your first ascended is very risky. Hopefully you did not boost your character. If you did, restart from level 1 and don't boost. People at level 80 do a combination of following (in no specific order) : fractals. raids. OPMDe.
