Heart Rate will work just fine. Coros won't know what to do with all the other stuff. If you have the strap already, you can use it, but if you're buying the strap specifically to use with a Coros, you can save a lot of money and get something without all the bells and whistles that won't do anything. I have been working out with the HRM pro (yellow) for a while now. Batteries are good and strap is still in really good shape, its only 5 months used. I've been using Garmin's HRM straps for many years now, from swim, tri, pro, and standard HRM units. I've never had an issue with cold weather operation until this latest HRM pro strap. Hi, I use the HRM pro and have the same problem. It is just 8 months old now. I never opened the HRM until it stopped working. Then I just went to change the battery and found a drop of water on the battery. I have not noticed a crack yet, but will look closer now.I've just got a Tacx Flowsmart trainer so have started to use the Tacx Desktop App on my windows 10 laptop. The app connects quickly to the trainer with no problems. However, the app cannot see my Garmin Heart Rate Monitor which connects via Ant +. I don't know if that is the number. I had to contact the support via mail because in the RMA I received after phone contact they wrote HRM premium strap without sensor. Well, I need a new HRM Run. They wrote in the description that mine doesn't work anymore but selected a wrong product number.
HRM-Pro and Stryd wind compute power very differently. It is not a 1-1 replacement. On my experience I did not find garmin power a reliable replacement for Stryd. ETA: I think you have to have the power widget on your watch to even have garmin figure power. Totally true. Partially true.

Garmin HRM pro heart rate problems. So basically, in the linkup screen I can pair my hart rate strap no problem, it shows my heart rate clearly and accurately. A few seconds after closing the menu and returning to the ride, the heart rate dissapears. In the linkup screen I can reconnect but the same thing happens.
Remove the cover and battery. Wait 30 seconds. Insert the new battery under the two plastic tabs with the positive side facing up. NOTE: Do not damage or lose the O-ring gasket.
