My present 2008 1.6 petrol Allure has given me no problems -so far (17k). However my newly purchased Peugeot RCZ which has the same chain driven 1.6 although slightly more powerful engine as the 2008 is a real nightmare. I have read the THP is a 'direct injection' engine and the VTI is a 'indirect injection' engine. Is this a factor?
